Florida pastor sexually assaulted teen girl and told her to stay quiet

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - A Wellington religious leader has been arrested and charged with having sex with an underage girl.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office arrested Apostle Stephen Stubbs, the pastor of the Restoration of Life Ministries.

Stubbs, according to his arrest report, hired a teen church member to become his personal assistant and the babysitter of his children.

Investigators said that in the summer of 2009 the alleged victim spent the night at the Stubbs' home.
The victim was awakened in the middle of the night by Stubbs and sexually assaulted, according to an arrest report.

Stubbs, according to PBSO, is suspected of having other incidents with the victim and of telling her not to say anything.

The arrest report also states that there were two other teenage girls that Stubbs reportedly had sexual activity with as well.

Stubbs was arrested by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputies and made his first appearance before a judge at the Gun Club Road courtroom.

The judge set bond at 50 thousand dollars
