HOUSTON (FOX 26) - FOX 26 News has learned a Houston Pastor accused of sexually assaulting a 14 year old girl also worked for the Star of Hope.
It was Monday when we first reported 47 year old Darryl Houston was accused of having sex with one of his foster children.
Now, we've learned Houston also worked for the Star of Hope at the shelter for Women and families east of downtown.
One former residents said she's concerned the shelter has not launched an investigation to determine if any of the children at the facility have been victimized.
Houston served as a foster parent through CPS in Harris County before his arrest.
Officials from the Star of Hope issued this statement:

However, we do have policies and procedures in place, starting with background and referral checks, to make sure that our clients are protected.
