Manhunt on for Pedophile Indian Pastor who threatened to kill his Wife

I should add India is notorious for honor killings.

June 17: The police are searching for a city-based pastor, who went missing after his wife accused him of being a paedophile and of misappropriating church funds. The complaint has been filed against K. Shantaraju, 45, pastor of Bethel Church and Bethel Student Centre in Siddartha Nagar in Jalahalli West. His wife, Priyalatha filed the complaint on Wednesday. “We have received a complaint against the pastor and eight others and are investigating the case. None of the accused could be traced so far and so, we have not arrested anyone,” said H.S. Revanna, DCP (North).

Priyalatha, in her complaint, alleged that minor children who come to the centre for education, were being sexually exploited. She also accused her husband of threatening to kill her when she questioned him about his illegal activity. According to the police, the couple have been married for the last 15 years and have reportedly developed differences in their marital life. They are fighting a divorce case, the DCP said. The pastor’s sister, brother-in-law and few other relatives have also been accused of misusing church funds. “We need to question all the accused in the complaint before taking a final decision on their arrests,” the DCP added
