Uh Oh, Spencer Alert!!

You know I have contacted Robert Spencer countless times by email. He hasn't replied. Some might say he doesn't have time to reply to anyone but Ali sent him a fake message praising his site and he responded with a thanks!!
I'm pretty sure we all know Spencer's (again the "scholor" on Islam) tactics. He puts in Quran verses and hadiths to support the worldwide muslim activity. Isn't it weird how such uneducated responses from a man in his late 40's doesn't match his 30 years of studying Islam?

Well yesterday he pulled out an article that opposes women as cabinet ministers in Iran (remember the debate Ali had with the ex-muslim Iranian? Ali proved that Iran (and actually so did the ex-muslim) doesn't follow the one true sharia law) and attached the "women deficient" hadith. Theres many muslims and islamic sites that refute such claims. The link below from readingislam takes care of the so called "wife beating" and what Robert Spencer says:

Okay and now on the Spencer's other lie. He pulled out another hadith about the prophet pbuh saying kill those who leave islam. Now we know theres a significant portion of muslims that say death should be given to apostates, but at the same time like us, theres many who say there is not punishment for apostasy. There is no Hadith or Quran verse related to killing apostates. Throughout the Quran I find verses talking about those who reject Islam and those who turn their backs on Islam and so on, there is no punishment mentioned in this world.
There is a hadith that says kill those who leave their faith but that is talking about people who mocked islam by converting to it then going back. And the Quran comments on this (3:72).
It was a temporary law.
Theres another hadith which Spencer often quotes which is similar to the one above, but it is a weak hadith (not reliable).
Also we can tell what's reliable because if hadiths contradict the Quran, then we can't take it.
After 30 years worth of researching, studying Islam, Robert Spencer and his worshipping christians on his site have not figured that out yet.
But on the other hand, the bible says very clearly of the killing of apostates. Most christians (among with many other things) do not know this!

And now onto the next little myth of Robert Spencer. I on his site have taken care of it before, but as usual christians love ignorance. It's about the hadith of music. Here is one answer from readingislam:

Music isn't haraam but the western sex-driven (christian) ones are.

So, have you checked the 100,000's of narrations to come to the conclusion that there is no hadith related to killing apostates? Evidently not, because if you did, you wouldn't say such a thing. Just because you might've not come across a narration does mean it doesn't exist. The vast majority of narrations have not even been translated into English, and even if they were, you would not know if there're translation mistakes.

Remember: an absence of evidence does not imply evidence of absence. There are plenty of narrations related to killing the apostate, enough to quench your thirst.

Also, you've misinterpreted the Surah 3:72. No jurist I know has used this as evidence against the killing of apostates. It was after this verse was revealed that the punishment was implemented, to prevent Muslims from doubting the deen.

Leave rulings of fiqh to the jurists, as they've acquired the many sciences of this religion to derrive rulings, not you and I.
